Ashley and her husband Luke have created a home in Okotoks over the past eight years.
They spend much of their time with their four children, enjoying camping, swimming, skiing, and just being outdoors. As part of the fabric of our community, you’ll see the entire family at many local events, often in a volunteer capacity.
Their eldest daughter recently moved away for university; the three younger children are active community members like their parents, highly engaged in sports, dance, school and other activities.
Raised in rural Alberta by a community-engaged family, Ashley learned the value of being a strong, active member of her community early in life.
Ashley’s commitment to her neighbours and community can not be in doubt. She has served with the following organizations:
After the fall election of the UCP government, she became active with the Alberta Party to help create a third option for Alberta. This experience has allowed her to fine-tune her skills in budget analysis, policy development and leadership.
Ashley has also used her expertise to provide free presentations for the public and local organizations.
Upon completion of her Masters in Psychology in 2013, she opened a psychology practice in Okotoks. She truly enjoys helping people create positive and meaningful lives. Her psychology experience has also allowed her to teach college psychology courses and complete accreditation surveys for publicly funded programs serving individuals with disabilities.
